Hello friends. I am writing this blog primarily as a diary and method of recording some of my thoughts about religion, Christianity, education, and whatever else strikes my fancy. Although I have been involved in church ministry as a musician, director, and liturgist for many years, I do not consider myself an authority or expert on any of these topics. I have also been an educator both in the private and Catholic sectors, as well as a Catholic school principal.
I have many passionate thoughts and ideas about religious subjects and education, and hope you will help me reflect on them further through our discussions to deepen my understanding and breadth of perspective. Please do not expect this blog to answer questions for you, or to be a source of inerrant wisdom. I’m just a regular guy who would like to discuss my thoughts with other people with similar interests.
I consider myself to be fairly academic, and will try to document sources when possible. I encourage you to do the same in your responses. If you happen to be formally trained in a topic of discussion, please feel free to set me straight (politely) if my views are errant.
